外國香料——歐芹

歐芹也叫法香，是世界上最廣泛使用的香草之一，經過幾千年的品種改良，已經成為一種很容易在容器中生長的香草。歐芹分為兩個品種：卷葉歐芹和平葉歐芹。平葉歐芹是我們常用的歐芹，也是推薦一般家庭種植食用的歐芹。卷葉歐芹因為其獨特的造型而成為菜肴獨特的裝飾品種之一，但因為它的香味并不突出，所以不太運用于烹飪。
種植方法：歐芹的生長和溫度有著緊密相關的聯系，如果你的種子遲遲沒有發芽，不妨在種子周圍倒上開水，一般在幾天之內就會出芽，但切忌直接澆灌種子。適合生長在秋冬兩季。
烹飪方法：歐芹的花莖同葉子一樣都具有強烈的氣味，所以也可以用來烹飪，甚至連同它的種子也是很好的香料之一，很適合用來調味肉食以及湯類。
藥用效果：泡茶能夠幫助消化、消除腸胃脹氣并解酒，浸劑中加蜂蜜可治痙咳、感冒和喉嚨痛。泡澡亦有舒緩和鎮定神經之效，提煉精油有殺菌作用，并可加入雀斑膏制作，具有消除雀斑、修復老化皮膚，亦可制作香皂和漱口水的材料。
